Who we are

Laura Mitchell and Nate Barton are the Co-Founders and Directors of Art Kit Aid. Laura and Nate are artists and art educators who live in Asheville, NC. They are friends and colleagues through A+ Schools of North Carolina and came together in the aftermath of Helene to use their passion for art, community, and art education to create Art Kit Aid.
